A river runs dry...

Here is a little video that has recently been produced describing the down fall of what is by far the greatest summer steelhead fishery in the world. Explanations for the problems haven't been found yet, and the problems continue to pile up on top of one another.

It's that time of year again, Fall?

I'm looking at my calendar and can't believe what I'm seeing. SEPTEMBER 4th!!!! This summer has raced on by, and now the season is upon us. Buddies have been saying goodbye for the last week as the early runners head north. Where are they going, SKEENA BOUND! So here's the question, when are you going up?

I can thankfully say late october & early november are when I'll head up that way. Just picked up another line for a rod, and a couple reels and the tedious event of tying as many flies as possible has started. Time to fill the boxes, and unfortunately all my buddies and clients boxes on top of my own.

Photo's to come.

Intruder

Here is a great video of how to get a simple but good looking and fishy fly done up.

Just a quick little video...

I got the opportunity to get out away from the shop for a few hours of fishing alone. So I decided to share my experience with you. Just one of many for me that warm afternoon.

Post season pics.

Big adipose on this bullet chrome wild buck

I couldn't find another fish more beautiful than this doe. Chrome, thick and wild, she was a hot one.

New Video

This is a compilation of this past steelhead season by my good friend and fishing buddy Aaron Goodis. Aaron is one of few... good caster, tier, and fishy. Sequences of Aaron, fellow friend Tim 'dog' Arsenault, and myself are within the film. Enjoy...

It was a good day out on the "Salty Dawg"

Well the guys at Pacific Angler had a day off, so what did we do? WE WENT FISHING! Its been pretty good over at Thrasher the last few, so that's where we were headed. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
